John Roberts

Commercial Instrumentalist, John Roberts, is a professional musician based out of Nashville, TN. His primary instrument is violin but also is skilled in mandolin and Irish bouzouki. John is a 2005 graduate of Belmont University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial Music Performance with an emphasis in violin and extensive study in mandolin. He is heavily involved in local worship circles providing accompaniment to worship events all over the United States. John has performed for the likes of Michael W. Smith, Bill Gaither and Matthew West for various events, as well as acoustic guitarist, Keith Cooper and the Jazz String Septet under the direction of world-renowned jazz violinist, Tracy Silverman. John has had other opportunities to play on countless recording sessions and live performances all over Nashville and the surrounding areas as well, showing his versatility from country and bluegrass to classical and jazz. He is also on staff as Adjunct Professor of Commercial Violin Studies at Belmont University and has taught privately for many years.
